I’ve never really been the person to spurt out knee-jerk responses to sexist ads.

I live in Europe: Sexist ads are all over the place. My knee caps would crack.

But this one in the Zurich main train station for Saxo Bank takes the cake.

The thing is, it’s such a stupid ad with a stupid premise, I can’t believe it made it out of the ad agency’s conference room.

You know something though? I’m slightly offended as a woman. But if I were a man, I’d be even MORE offended.

If you’re a guy, Saxo Bank is telling you that this is how you look when you see a woman: like a dumb a$$…with bulging eyes and a desperate smile.

Saxo Bank is also telling you that you spend time in cheap surroundings. Look at the furniture.:-)

And last but not least, Saxo Bank is telling you that you’re such a brainless dweeb that you would look at this ad and immediately start doing business with them even though they have no information about the bank itself on the ad…other than the web addy (and something about a ‘multi-asset trading platform’)

If I were a man who was a customer of Saxo Bank, I’d pull my money out right now. That bank has no respect for you.

But I’m neither a man, nor a Saxo Bank customer.
